Setup Domain Wildcard

    I use editdns.net are this settings correct to create wildcarded dns, subdomains ? for the moment isn't working

    *xxxx.com. A - 1 86400 - 88.167.12.45
    xxxx.com. NS - 1 86400 - ns1.eu.editdns.net.
    xxxx.com. NS - 1 86400 - ns2.eu.editdns.net.
    www.xxxx.com. A - 1 - 86400 - 88.167.12.45

    I'm not sure about editdns.net, but in my server, I set the below for wildcard subdomain :-
    *. A - 1 - 86400 - 88.167.12.45
    * CNAME - 86400 - xxxx.com.


    You'll also need to edit your httpd.conf in your server :-
    Look for :-
    ServerAlias www.xxx.com

    Add/amend :-
    ServerAlias *.xxxx.com www.xxxx.com

    You can just ask your host to do it too.

    thanks , i can have access to httpd.conf this is the problem and the host don't want
