Setup and validation problem

    I'm using vBulletin 3.07 and am obviously missing something very obvious, but I can't get the ads to show. I am also not sure exactly where to put the code as referenced here:

    *****
    SHOWTHREAD_SHOWPOST, printthread and footer templates, and add the following to it (somewhere appropriate):
    *****

    I'm not all sure where appropriate is, and it made my forums offcenter.

    My site is www.sports-critics.com/forums

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    "Appropriate" just means anywhere you want (that it looks good with your design). The most common place would in the footer somewhere.

    Ok, thanks, I'm still clunking around vbulletin. I did place "$ad_network" in the "SHOWTHREAD_SHOWPOST, printthread and footer templates" and nothing is showing, but the forums are offline so I'm sure I placed it in the wrong place in one or all of those templates.

    Note: I CMOD'd ad_network_ads_339.txt to 666 and the filesize is showing 795 bytes already, so I'm assuming the ads are working, but I need to find the correct place in the templates? This making any sense? I'm not a coder of any sorts, so I may not be asking the right thing here...

    Here's a sample of a vBulletin footer with the ad network from one of my forums.

    <center>
    Advertisement: $ad_network
    </center>

    Code (markup):
    It's the very last thing in the footer template.

    Ok, I'm stumped! I'm fairly certain I have it setup per the instructions at least. The filesize of my ad_network_ads_339.txt continues to grow so it's picking it up. I have the:

    <center>
    Advertisement: $ad_network
    </center>

    in the footer and "Advertisement:" shows center above the time in the footer as it should but no ads. Any ideas?

    The server it's on is running Apache 1.3.33, Php 4.3.11, if that helps. I also use the CMS Subdreamer which is integrated with vBulletin 3.07.

    Got it and validated! I had my code in the phpinclude_start in a commented out section. Doh!
