Suggestion Settings option to untick Google in Search

    I've never wanted to use the Google search tick box in the search settings for this site and feel it's just a way for DP to cash in :rolleyes:

    Could there not be a setting if you have over 1000 posts maybe to untick that box?

    It's such a nuisance to have to untick it everytime I want to use the search.

    No sorry... it's intentionally the default because it takes a huge load off our servers (be happy we still allow the normal vBulletin search at all).

    Google indexes DP so fast that I find the Google search very helpful.

    That's a good point about the server load, never really thought about that, I withdraw my thoughts above :)
