Setting up your own web hosting service?

    Hello all,

I'm currently trying to setup a personal web hosting service for my friends where they get an area of web space, etc, for them to use. Basically, a free web hosting service, etc with PHP, and all possible.

Does anyone know how I could go about setting this service up? ( If I were to get a HostGator/webspace account, etc)

    Thank in advance.

Just get a server with DirectAdmin on it.

Well, start of purchasing a domain and then buy one of the following to host the domain on:

    - a Host Reseller
    - a Host Master Reseller
    - a Dedicated Server

Once you've gotten one of those, search for a billing piece of software like the following:

    - WHCMS
    - ClientExec
    - CpCreator (free)

Once, you've gotten those, i recommend setting up packages on your reseller, master reseller or dedicated server depening on which one you chose.

upon completion of that, fix a template onto your site and then add content.

this is pretty much a brief guide on how to set one up, however you would find a more detailed one on the net.

    Good Luck :)
