Setting up numerous blogs

I was needing some advice from the experts here. I am trying to set up a real estate blog/social network and looking for the best script to be able to do this. I do not really want to pay for something and if it was possible through wordpress somehow that would be the best. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

I saw a new project in beta. I read wordpress is developing social networking script.

 

What are you trying to do? If you want to allow multiple users to maintain their own blogs you can use WordPress MU.

 

Yeah basically I am wanting to set up a website that allows people to have their own blogs. Sort of like blogger, blogspot, etc. I am doing it for a real estate community website.

 

As mizaks points out, Wordpress MU should work for you. The price is right.

Wordpress MU is the way to go. BUT -- you either (a) have to be very comfortable with installing and configuring Wordpress (wordpress.org) or (b) you'll need to hire someone to set it up for you.

 

I think Wordpress MU work only with subdomains and not with different domains.Someone know how can I manage a lot of blog on different domains?
