Hey DP. I was wondering what you guys thought about having a home page that lacked substantial text. The only text that google bots would really pick up are links and a couple of headers - meaning there is no body text. When designing the homepage we wanted to keep it simple so the user knows exactly what they get when landing to try and lower our bounce rate. The home page looks 1000x better than it did before but i am nervous that losing paragraphs of text that were previously on the homepage will hurt my websites position on competitive keywords with Google. Should i leave it as it is? Redesign a home page that has paragraphs of text while still trying to keep it user friendly? or go back to my confusing but google friendly homepage.. Thanks in advance for the help.
