I was thinking of going to gmail for all of my email use but I can't seem to find if they allow you to set up more than one account? For example, I'll have my personal email which is and then I'll have two additional accounts for each of my websites. So when someone tries to contact me through one of my websites, the email will arrive in my gmail inbox. Is this possible to do?
lol. Well I never thought of that. I guess I was just looking at it like I use Thunderbird. I have three different accounts set up in Thunderbird and then when I receive mail it just goes into my Thunderbird account. I guess I could just go into cpanel for each site and forward the mail to my gmail account as you said. If I did that, does Gmail have a way to keep each separate? Like a different color for each or something?
You can apply flags which will put them each into a folder. I have the folders named the same as the individual email addresses so I can easily spot if I got new mail. The only thing is if you want to send a mail, you have to sign into the individual account (unless you don't mind replying and having the sender see your main email)
You can also set it up so that you can send from multiple accounts in your one gmail account as well.
Why would you ever need more than 1 account? I have 1 gmail account and the mail to all my sites is forwarded to it. Then you set up gmail to automatically apply a label to the incoming mail depending on which site its from. You can also set gmail to reply using the same address the mail came from.
Hello, You can send from your other accounts in Gmail it is in your settings under accounts, click add another email address and it will send a verification email to the account you want to send from and take that code and click verify and it will work. Hope this helps,
I still have to set up the account initially By the way, I usually create an account specifically for directory submissions for every site...Its great for tracking
Lolz ! you can have many accounts in google,, While registration just type your Primary E-mail in Secondary E-mail box...
