Setting up Hit Filters on WebTrends

Good afternoon...we're attempting to clean up our data by excluding a number of URLs from being tracked on WebTrends. However, the program seems to be ignoring our filters! For instance, we want to exclude all pages in certain directories, so we set up a hit filter using the directory parameter. Let's just pretend these are symbolized by /dir_1 and /dir_2. Is there a certain way to represent these in the filter? WebTrends only mentions separating them by a space. So, that would be /dir_1 /dir_2 in the value field, right? Or do we need to include the ending slash? Or put quotes around them?

We've tried twice to no avail. Should we be using a directory hit filter...or stick with a URL filter? Or something else?

    Frustrated

    Thanks in advance...
