I want to setup up a directory such that a link could be in more than 1 category with one submission.

Lets say a company is in medical business but can also be part of the regional listings (specific country)

is it possible with any of the scripts ? mods ? do you think its easily hackable on phpld ?

I was thinking if categories where implemented as tags (like free tags) submitter could specify more than one tags ?

    Any thoughts, suggestions ?

I think indexu can also do this, but unfortunately up to 3 categories only.
About tags stuff, seems this feature will be available in their upcoming version.

The script by WSNlinks allows the submitter to choose multiple categories on submission.

For phpld directory, except you allow multiple submission for same url, or you can't do that. But I saw many other directories which can allow you submit to one main category, and then 3-5 additional category. Sorry I can't remember the directory and script name.
