Hey guys I am a real newbie to this and i'm not even sure if this is the forum I should be posting in if it isn't please point me to the right one.

I just want to setup a local host on my computer so that I can work on my site first then upload it to my webhost. Can someone please give a little guidance as to how i do this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

    Hi,
I use http:// www dot wampserver.com/en/index.php on my computer. It installs apache2, php and mysql plus phpmyadmin as an interface to mysql
This is the easiest way to go as everuthing is bundled together.
