Setting up a Linux Gameserver

    Hi

    Does anybody have a comprehensive guide on how to set up a dedicated gameserver from scratch. I want to run games like Left 4 Dead 2 or Counter Strike but I've seriously underestimated whats involved as no matter what I do this just won't work.

    I installed Centos
    Cpanel
    Game server Management (Cpanel Addon)

    And now I'm stuck. Whats next? I try setting up a server on the Cpanel Addon, it looks like its setup successfully but its clearly not. I can't monitor the server at all in HLSW cause it just times out.

    Cpanel is giving no errors. As far as its concerned everythings gone smoothy.
