Hey everyone im new in PLESK and i just can't seem to figure it out. Currently no matter what i type in before my domain, it mirrors my site.

    Example:

anything.mysite.com looks as if im looking at mysite.com

    Thats besides the point.

    I want subdomain.mydomain.com to CNAME to subdomain.anotherdomain.com

I for the love of god can't figure it out. I have tried putting the CNAME in the Server, and also within the domain panel itself. I have created subdomain.mydomain.com also, and it is directing to a Domain Default page.

What is the correct place to put it, in the server tab DNS, or the domain tab DNS? And in what order? Is the canonical name the site i want it to point at or my site?

    Visit Desktop > youdomain.com >

Under the services tab, there is DNS.
In that click click add record and in the page that appears select CNAME. Enter your sub domain name, enter the full canonical name ie subdomain.anotherdomain.com . The canonical name needs a trailing period, but that will be automatically put by Plesk, you don't have to do that.
