Setting up 100 domains and servers with unique IPs?

We need some help and this could possibly lead to employment for someone.

The question is: We are registering 100 domains and are going to build sites on them. We do not want our footprints noticed on these sites as we will be doing some inner linking within the sites.

How do we register and host 100 domains in a responsible manner for the search engines? my thoughts are this so far:

-Register 10 sites a week for 10 weeks
-Obtain hosting with 100 unique IPs
-Purchase Privacy protect for the whois on all domains

Will this work? What are we doing wrong? How can this be done easier and safer? Do we need multiple hosting companies?

Wouldn't be a bad idea to spread out the IPs on different subnets. Different hosting providers will accomplish this. Definetely go with whois protection, and register a few at a time. Spread out the registrations (10/week is a good number), and be sure that the websites don't share a common template (or have common HTML/CSS code).

If you follow all of that, it should be fine.

I don't think you should do it. I've never seen any proof that hosting on different IPs does anything to page rank when linking.

More importantly, IP addresses are getting to be pretty scarce. IPv4 space is running out because of abuses like these.

This dude doesn't have a clue as to what's going on here. Your idea is excellent - GREAT for SEO - wish I could accomplish the same, don't have time. :D

I know it's a dissenting opinion. But, logically speaking, if there was a way to get more PR for the cost of an IP ($1-2 / month if you're lucky) the big-G would put a stop to it immediately.

And just thinking about all the explanations of the page rank algorithm given by google, it just seems unlikely that there would be any benefit (to anyone but your webhost + ARIN that is.)

We are mainly worried about creating a link farm by using the same IPs. We don't want to take a chance at any black hat SEO. We recently had a site delisted from Google by giving it too many links from other subsites.

The ips need to be from different range/locations/datacenters, so this might work only if you use a lots of different hosting providers.
