    Hi,

I live in europe and I have an adwords account in euros, I'd like to know if it's better to convert it in dollars, because I think that doing that I spend less money.

    Do you it's right?

I may be wrong but i dont think you can convert it can you, once it is setup? but i believe you can setup an account with a different currency, seperate from the one you have.

Hope i understood your question correctly.

Correct, once you select a currency, it is per ACCOUNT and you would have to open a new account. However, you should be setting the currency to the country which you reside or your credit card/bank is in.

My rep has confirmed this question with me before. If you are paying in USD and bidding in an EURO market, the prices will automatically change to reflect that. Such as, your not going to get a €3 Euro click for $3 USD. In any case, even if it was not true and Google held some kind of changing rates, you wont be saving much of anything unless you are spending a LOT of money per month; as in like $100,000+

I guess you will have to open a new account and then you can opt for dollars... it better to have two accounts and then you can compare and decide which one is better.

    Yes,

I mean I would open a new account in dollars, if it's worth.
Actually I'm promoting Clickbank product as an affiliate...

Hi CSK from India, I believe your brain is out of sync.

About the topic, I would like to know this aswell. Maybe Google converts the bids based on the currency?

I have several adwords accounts, some in USD, some in EUR.

I just want to add this little information:

Google Adwords charge your credit card when your account (in USD) has reach the 50-55 USD, or (in EUR) when it reaches between 70-75 EUR aprox.

and... The rate exchange in the google search engine result (when you look for "EUR to USD") is a little different that they use at the moment they charge your Credit Card.

    Regards
    Jon

Rates vary daily and the transaction is not always immediate so there could be a difference there. Also, if you are paying in a different currency, the card issuer or bank will charge a currency conversion fee - usually about 2.5%.

I cannot see how having your account in dollars would benefit you if you are in the Euro zone - the actual CPC will presumably be the same and, unless you have a US bank account/ credit card, you will still be paying your account in Euros.

    But 1€ It's more or less 1,4$

So with a 100$ bid you may save 40$ using the right currency. Anyone here has tried It?
