Setting a form action to another domain

I own two web sites on two different domains hosted on two different servers. For the purposes of this question, let's call them site1.com and site2.com.

On site1.com I want to build a form with the form action going to site2.com (<form action="site2.com/file.php">). In other words, site2.com will capture all of the form submissions, while site1.com is just a front-end.

My question is, will this cause any issues? Will users be presented with any awkward dialog messages telling them that the data is being submitted elsewhere?

Also, what if site1.com has an SSL certificate (httpS://...) and site2.com doesn't. Will this cause any such issues?

    Thanks again!

some time a dialog warning comes telling u r leaving secure zone to nonsecure zone. but it depends on browser settings too.

Gotcha, thanks. I will make sure to link to the SSL version of site2.com when site1.com is in https mode. Just wanted to make sure...
