Set up problem

I"m trying to get everything set up with phpbb on my site www.forumsplace.com.

I followed all of the instructions but instead of links, I'm getting single letters for the ads???

Also when i'm in my account it shows that my site is still inactive. Could that have something to do with it?

I got it working now.

I have a second question. I've tried to read some of the post but still am not sure about this.

The forums I host each get their own subdomain. Do I need to do anything special for the subdomans beside putting the right code on the forum pages?

Should I set my site URL to http://forumsplace.com? instead of www.forumsplace.com?

When I validated my pages I got a weight of 2,000 something. PR of main page is 6, showing 5 links on each page, and about 490 pages show up on a site search on google. (I didn't do an API search, not sure how to do that) So if i'm understanding the forumula right it seems like my subdomains aren't getting picked up. I have about 47,000 pages index with the subdomains.

I have 10,000 + subdomains and growing at a rate of 100 per day.

Their must be a better way.

 

I tried setting the site to just forumsplace.com and got a weight of 4,000 so that's a start in the right direction.

Also, what about all of the private forums that google can't see that the ads still display on? Is that lost weight?

 

Any page indexed by google is counted for the weight

What about www.ghostchronicles.com? Some one else is signed up to use the domain even though it's mine. I PM'ed you with proof that I own it, before seeing your message not to in your sig. Sorry about that.

 

The previos owner whas selling the link space to someone else, so I'm sure that's who that is. I don't know who that is personally.


I sent an e-mail to them asking them to delete their account so I can try and wait for a reply if you'd like.

I have one more question. (Last one I hope )

We I joined the two accounts that I creadted, the second account showed up in the master account, but no weight has carried over.

Do I need to do anything else for the weight to transfer to the master?
