Do you mean, The from address of the email so its like admin@yourdomain.com?

Because thats set up in cpanel under the email accounts.
If you want it to be a email sent from the website you would have to code it in PHP, or something similar.

What are you using? When you say "Control Panel", do you mean wordpress or joompla types or the free forum your site has? Basically, in forums it's auto set to use your default id. Otherwise for site, you need to have that in your coding.

No its a normal, should we say, website. I want it to read, as Dox 5 says, from, admin@mysite. Where in the control panel can I set this up. ( I know its in the mail section, but which one)
    Thanks

Where is the email being sent from?
Is it a forum like PhpBB or is it from a like a webpage form?

I have two a phpbb forum, but the one I really need to do now, is a normal website.

Here is the funny part, I have even set up mailing list, through my control Panel, and I dont know how to send them e mails. Will keep looking.

If you want to send it from a normal webpage, you will need a Email script
You can get some free ones if you look around on google, or you can write your own in php using the mail function:

     mail(to, Subject, message, from)
    Code (markup):
