Hi, We have quite a large client base and when we set up Analytics originally a couple of years ago everything was under the one account. What we didn't realise is that if you want to "Apply Cost Data" to a profile you'll be able to see everyone else's AdWords campaigns. Google is saying you can't filter things, can I please get some advice as to how people in a similar boat went about setting things up? It just seems a bit ridicules to have to set up a separate account for every client especially if you have hundreds of clients. At the moment all I can see are two choices, either turn it off completely so no one can see AdWords or leave it on and everybody will see everyone else's ads. Any help would be much appreciated...
You certainly don't want anyone other than your client having information to their campaigns. The only solution I can recommend for you is outsourcing a few programmers to set up an external traffic tool for your clients using the Analytics API. Give your clients individual logins/passwords and house all the analytics data under http://traffictool.yourcompany.com/ or something.
