Finally I think I'm getting the hang of this and should be on target to hit the $600 in a month mark (no doubt helped slightly by Christmas). If I can keep it going at its current rate next month will hit $1k although I think this will die down after the holiday period. Now I just need to find some way to increase traffic ten fold and I might start to feel a bit more happy lol. I started playing about with Adsense about a year ago making the stupid mistake of trying to make numerous sites full of half arsed bits and bobs but after 6 months kind of just started focusing on one site/blog. Since I did this traffic and earnings have been increasing month on month. If there is anyone new to this seriously don't do what I did or you'll be posting on here saying I can't make a dollar a day etc. I wouldn't even say my articles and blog posts are that good (certainly not anything that would get dugg a lot) although they have helped me write better which again is very important long term as if you want people to link to your site naturally filling it with garbage won't work. Improving your writing skills basically means long term you'll do less work as others will do it for you. Now after 6 months I think I can start working on one of those other sites whilst still increasing the one thats already running pretty well. And hopefully in a another 6 months start another etc. Anyway I don't even know why I wrote this lol, boredom I suppose but hopefully it helps some others out and keeps me motivated enough to go on wards and upwards and start making a decent amount of money.
A week probably between $0 and $10 varied significantly although a high paying advert would sneak up every now and then. Sticking to doing one thing good rather than 10 to 15 really badly has meant earnings are consistent. Although I think its fair to point out this is having all my eggs in one basket so when google decides not to show your results for some unknown reason for two weeks you do get seriously annoyed.
Congratulations. Glad you wrote it. Very good for all those who don't know better. I had the same problem I tried doing everything at once instead of focusing my energy on one good site. I've since learned better
That's great work....I personally like to have multiple niche sites all making money. But if you've done it with one big, quality site...all the better.
