Am I the only one that thinks sites like Craigslist overreacted by removing their personals section? I understand their ultimate goal, but most people that perused the personals were legit people looking for something real. It's like they used a stick of dynamite to blow up a little ant farm.
The personals section is still there, they just moved it to the bottom: https://newyork.craigslist.org/ If I understand it right, due to some new legislation they (CL) removed the NSA subcategory.
No, they pulled the entire personals category...they even made an apology and a thank you to the thousands that found love using their site.
You are right. I didn't click on any of the links to see if they were working. It's pretty serious though, no wonder CL took that drastic measure.
