    Hey there,

I was just wondering how many sessions can your website support without causing severe lag on your server?

Do you filter search crawlers from regular users when enabling sessions?

I noticed when I start to get around 50 established sessions on my website Green Watch that the JRUN service causes the CPU usage to increase to about 50% and Google and Yahoo start to have problems crawling my website.

    Anybody have similar issues?

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

By the way, do you maintain connections across client requests?

What do you find more effective...

    1. Storing sessions variables in the registry
    2. Storing session variables in a database
    3. Storing session variables as cookies
