    hey guys,

My server is down and I have no idea what most of these things mean on this status report, this is a shared server and the mysql seems to be down, I have 15 dbs running. Also if you have any suggestions on where I could go to host my site if I plan to have 500 MySQL dbs on it not really high traffic but there and ready, I want maximum uptime of mySQLs

Cant you just restart the whole server? That should get them back up?

If you dont know much about this and need to have a lot of stuff its better to get a dedicated managed server, then they will fix any problems for ya.

    Seiya,

It is a shared server, I could get a dedicated server but I'm wondering how many MYSQL databases can I have running on a server before it crashes I only have 15 and this happens?

Can anybody recommend a place where I can host 500 MySQL databases with about 5 GIGs of space...totaling about 10,000 visitors/day

I think with this requirement you are heading into dedicated server territory.
    or atleast semi-dedicated

I am not sure if The Planet opened their order forms again. I do have my server with them. My experience so far has been very good.

Hosting 500 databases will absolutly require a dedicated mysql server on top of your regular web server. layeredtech.com has some great deals on their servers right now. I just picked up a duel opteron 248 for one of my proxy sites. They are unmanaged servers though, so you'll need to know alot about server administration or hire a 3rd party co. to handle it for you.

Check out their specials on webhosting talk here: http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=493700
