server security options more extreme than SSL

    hey all you server experts,

I have GoDaddy hosting as my company I usually use and I'd like to find out what options are available to me with regard to mathematical security that are even more sophisticated than simply adding SSL to a domain. More than likely I won't need this, but I would still like to know what is available. I understand that using a proxy server for website page requests falls into this category as an option? Is that correct?

If so, is that it? Or do people even care about that level of security anymore? thanks!

Nginx as a proxy wouldn't be a security improvement. I assume you are talking about front end security? Are you on a VPS/dedicated server or shared hosting? You best option would be to use a CDN like CloudFlare that acts as a firewall buffer in front of your website.
