Server Requirements for Vbulletin 4.2 with 8000 uniques/day and 40 logged in users

Based on other people's experiences would a VPS with 2.69Ghz and 1824mb RAM run a forum with 8000 uniques/day and maximum 40 logged in members? The forum is running a very standard vbulletin 4.2. The current server has ridiculous stats because the owner is a server admin so I can't use those stats to compare with.

I am using a VPS with 1GB of RAM and 2.4 GHz of Processor. My forum gets 10,000 uniques/day and have vBSEO Installed. logged in users upto 200 and i have no problem with it.

Yes the provide unmanaged VPS you have to manage yourself. but they will provide it with Installed WHM.

Just wanted to add that a VPS with 1- 2 GB of RAM would do fine. Id suggest at least 2 - 4 CPU cores as well.

 

Thanks I ended up getting a plan with 2GB Ram and 4x CPU priority. It is running perfectly and using hardly any resources at all.
