Server Price

    I would like to ask, how much would it cost me to have a server like that?

    - 2x Xeon Quad Core 2.13GHz Nehalem (Up to 8 CPUs).
    - 12 GB Ram.
    - 1 Terebyte Harddrive.
    - Cpanel/WHM
    - 10,000 GB Bandwidth.

    A more reasonable price would be about $320-$350. I think you will be able to find one for around that price. I shouldn't think it would be much more than that.

    Definitely $300+ with premium bandwidth options, and I forgot to consider the cPanel license. You could probably find a good deal with a good host under $300, especially outside the USA.

    I'd also point out that all that CPU horsepower and decent amount of RAM is wasted with a single SATA drive. Why spend all the money on a spec like this and have a rubbish disk system which will be the bottle-neck? Get a decent hardware RAID controller and get 2 or more fast drives. You don't need massive drives for web or database servers unless you plan to have thousands of sites on the servers - and then you will need a decent raid controller or performance will be pants.

    Try closer to $1000++++ per month.
    Its gonna be a price machine to build, and the bandwidth is very high.

    You find a place doing this for $300/mo. let me know. I'll close up shop today and host there.
