Buying Server management company to install lighttpd alongside cPanel

    Please post your offers here. My adult site is currently under attack by a botnet and I've tried 2 different hosts who can't mitigate the attack successfully. Finally it was recommended that I replace Apache with lighttpd. I'm looking for anyone with expertise in installing lighttpd alongside cPanel, Apache, PHP 5 and MySQL. Willing to pay good money for the installation.

    Hello, why don't you try Nginx instead of Lighttpd? IMHO, Nginx is more stable than Lighttpd, i'm now using Nginx + Apache in my cPanel vps, my site load is lower than before when i was using Apache only, it is also .htaccess / Apache mod rewrite compatible, just a few little things to be taken care manually in configurations.

    Or you could use Litespeed for faster perfomance, Apache compatibitily, and protection from DDOS attack.

    I serve a lot of dynamic content and from what I've read Nginx is better for static content. What do you think? I wanted to try LiteSpeed but unfortunately they don't give licenses to adult sites :mad:
