Server help. Help please

    Hi there,

    I have my server in hivelocity.net

    I have my own dedicated server, I getting a attack call:
    syn attack,

    I need a server, which can protect this, or any idea how to protect it instead of using a hardware firewall which they recommend in this PDF.

    I hope there is some who can help me.

    Some software firewalls can prevent this depending on the OS.

    Shorewall packet filtering can fix that easy...
