In case anyone is curious what they look like (right now)... http://www.digitalpoint.com/~shawn/2006/06/this-is-what-blade-servers-look-like.html
Shawn, Are you still spamming the forum with links to your blog . No one cares about your nerdy servers! okay, just kidding
As I presume you're running 'in-house', I'm just curious about your connection, roughly how much ($) is it?
Connectivity is as much as I need (I could have a gigabit connection if needed)... billed at $300/month for the rackspace/power + $55 per MBit/sec...
hmmm so how much does it cost for your per month? i'm thinking of co-locating, but would it be pointless to do it in toronto? never really heard of any datacenters here
Holey-Moley that could be pricey ... since you could easily burst to 100 MBit/second (or higher with the GBit connection) ... which would end up being $5,500/month ... even if the average was quite a bit lower. Speaking of stats, would be curious (if you can share) how many total TBytes/month are trafferring from DP - gottta be a huge number.
As soon as the 220V circuit is ready in the data center... http://www.digitalpoint.com/~shawn/2006/06/server-status.html
