As I presume you're running 'in-house', I'm just curious about your connection, roughly how much ($) is it?

Connectivity is as much as I need (I could have a gigabit connection if needed)... billed at $300/month for the rackspace/power + $55 per MBit/sec...

hmmm so how much does it cost for your per month?

i'm thinking of co-locating, but would it be pointless to do it in toronto? never really heard of any datacenters here

It varies month to month... it depends on what my bandwidth needed peaks at.

Is that $55 per MBit/second on the monthly average, the 95 percent-tile peak, or some other means?

Right now it's monthly peak. But I'm trying to get them to switch it to 95th percentile. :)

Holey-Moley that could be pricey ... since you could easily burst to 100 MBit/second (or higher with the GBit connection) ... which would end up being $5,500/month ... even if the average was quite a bit lower.

Speaking of stats, would be curious (if you can share) how many total TBytes/month are trafferring from DP - gottta be a huge number.
