Server error Problem

    I have a problem in my local host.
    When i install any other CMS on my local host this message showing ...


    Server error!

    The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

    If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
    Error 500
    localhost

    What will i do.

    install again xampp...have you paste xampp folder in htdocs ...
