Server change and google traffic

    Hello all,

    Due to hosting problem (server in US) I am thinking about move to server to France. Site gets 90% of traffic from google and about 30% from US visitors.
    My question is: Do you think it is worth to change server location to non US? How about google traffic?

    Server location is a BIG part of the SEO algorithm. Is your site written in english? Or is it french? If it`s english and you want to keep or maximize your us visitors, then I suggest getting another host in the US.

    I don't know location of server will affect Google Traffic...maybe I should move my hosting to server just beside Google servers!!!:D

    if you are concern about the right visitor why you change server its a good move, you probably rank better in your target market than US.

    There are some effects, but thats not the only thing that determines the ranking. I would not worry about it as long as the transition is smooth.

    Buddy which server do you using currently first of all describe that or you can do one work just bye anyone of this this both servers are from US and its Uptime is 99.99% everytime and it will not affect your website anyhow reason SEO don't worry about that go ahead with this IPOWER or if you want CPanel then you can go for BLUEHOST

    this is wrong, the server location is definitely a SEO factor, to avoid in troubles or unnecessary headaches, look for a US host..
