The files keep getting replaced... The host service is down most of the time... Sometimes I cannot overwrite my own files... This has been happening for quite some time now. I contacted them but I think that the replies were automoted and stopped after a few messages. I opened a new ticket and the same thing happened... I want to teach them a lesson because I noticed that they have been cheating a lot of people like this...

    extremely cheap??

$4.95 Unlimited Hostgator is best plan and awesome support.

    Is servage cheaper than these?

    Servage is crap.

    Sorry to hear about it.
I would suggest you to ask them to refund your money.
Or if you pay with paypal, you can charge back.

Your best bet is to move on and try to get your money back from Servage. Best of luck!

Sorry to hear about that, a lot of the mega-cheap hosts are crap.

Best advice is to move to another host that is highly recommended.

I heard about Servage dishonest way of measuring traffic. Like if you host a 700mb file and someone downloads first 10mb but cancels, then your bandwidth will be credited as 700mb. Through the years I've used some of the cheaper webhosts and find dreamhost the best one so far.

Servage should be stopped from hosting... Or somehow we have to let people know that there is a big problem with servage...

every "unlimited" host have problem with large sites.

once you start pooling to much resources they will shut your down.

try with non oversell host if you have large sites.

I would say to just cut your losses and find another host. The one in my sig is similar to what you are looking for but is much more reliable. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the market for a new web host.

your best bet would probably a vps or dedicated if you can afford those. they are completely yours so they can't kick you for using too much space or what not

If it is not a lot of money (and maybe even if it is) cut your losses and call it a lesson learned. There is no time for it when you have so much more to do promoting and building your site.

They do the same overselling as a lot of others, like Hostgator by the way, but HG will cut you faster if you get big so their servers are not as overloaded as Servage. I was running a test on it ; on HG you get 'unlimited' space/bandwidth; I got suspended after putting up my site + a few gigs of data because of 'cpu overloading' (I wasn't, but he, they oversell so they have to make up something) and on Servage I got to upload more than 80 gb and run the site for more than 3 months before they deleted my account. They said it was 'by accident' but all was gone. So I concluded Servage actually tries to deliver you a lot more than HG but ofcourse both cannot.

DON'T USE THIS HOST. IT IS HIGHLY EXPLOITABLE AND YOUR INFORMATION IS NOT SAFE.
    I Can Provide Proof.
