Servage hosting suck big time right now. I think the owner and his small gang of good people did a great work before but now when they sold the company to Tele5 its goodbye quality hello outsource. Every time there is a problem with the server they ask me You want to move to our new cluster? I do not want to move because I have to make a lot of settings and it will take a day or two. Finally I said yes ok but only if I do not have to do any settings. I think I asked that 5 times that there should be no setting changes and no website settings. Since I have over 200 website there is a lot to change. I also asked them if they could change on Saturday – Sunday since I am not using the websites then and they said yes. Now I did not hear from them so I asked them 2 times this week if they had change already and finally I got a message from them: Your account is currently being moved to a new cluster. Unfortunately your account may be offline for up to 24 hours as the DNS need to propagate throughout the Internet. We will automatically make the required DNS changes on our name servers. Should you for some reason not use our DNS or use static paths in your scripts these are the new settings: IP: xxxxxxxxxxx Homedir: /xxx/slash/slash I hope this resolved your problems. Have a nice day. They did it middle of the week so all my webmaster had to stop working and now we have to spend the rest of the week doing nothing else then change mail script and other stuff. I asked them IF they had moved NOT that they should move it was VERY CLEAR I could then not get them to answer what I should do for another 6 hours and still counting Servage just stays quiet. Dam I hate outsourcing staff!!

Yeah i know some things are good if you get the right person to help. I did a funny thing now. I said to them my hosting still does not work what is wrong? I changed something in domain so they could not see my domain and 5 min after i get this answer Hello, Thank you for submitting the ticket. Then the support guy wrote back and said Sorry for the previous reply. This is to inform you that in order to work the sites properly and to avoid each possible error, I suggest you to please ask your current registry to point the name servers to servage which are as follows:- ns1.servage.net ns2.servage.net ns3.servage.net ns4.servage.net Please note that the DNS zone entries normally takes 24 hours to propgate all over the internet.
