    Obviously given a preference everyone wants to be #1 on the first page.

    However, if given the choice between being the last listing on the first page, or the first listing on the second page, which would you choose?

    i would say top of second page

    1 - people tend to skip bottom of page
    2 - whilst page is loading you site is viable straight away so adding a better % of a click
    3 - you can still say your top in google :p

    Probably the last on the first page, though being at the top of a page certainly has some advantages.
