SERPs jumps with Google

I have a list of the keywords I am optimising for Google. Interesting thing happened to me twice. I had 3 of my keywords jump up to the top 10 Google ranking, stay there for 2 days than go back to 4 - 5th pages... Traffic would go up 300%. I wonder why my sites are not staying there and what these SERPs jumps should be telling me. This weekend I was # 1 Google for "Latin Escorts", 4th page now... Why is Google tossing its SERPs in this way?

I'm getting the same thing but even more extreme. I guessed at a lack of back links....interested to see what the answer is.

Do you get on 1st page often, or you got only once? With often i mean when you update your content or add new content to your site? Maybe your offsite optimizing is not good enough to beat the concurrence. Try monitoring when your site gets on first page, if its when you update your content, then try to update it frequently and work on a bit harder on the offsite optimization. 4th page i not bad yet, since you arrived there you can climb higher in the SERPs with just some more work.

Study how your concurrence has worked on the offsite optimization, get backlinks from quality PR sites with not much outgoing links, make sure the links that you get are from difference C class IP and the content is related to yours.

We can't just answer to your question with that few information you have gave us.

it's near the page rank update. serp changing is normal for these days.

if you want to avoid from these types of serp changes , you must have all types of backlinks (directory, blog posts, article links etc.) :)
