Hi all , ive been tracking keywords for a while now in the keyword tracker, but all of a sudden the positions that are returned from the tracker are completely wrong to what i see when i do a manual search?? what can i do to aliviate this problem?
Try installing the script on your own server to make the search results geotargetted to your country rather than the US.
i haven't installed any script on the servers as i'm only tracking google rankings, i have just an api key and thats it
huh?Its seems to be working but a few of the results its returning are totally not in line with what I see on Mcdar's toold across all the data centres. What datacentee is it calling results from?
With more than 70 data cernters online which are often these are not in sycn, it is hard to say what the correct SERP is. It is all realative to data center hit. Candysmith, it does not appear to hit same datacenter each time you run a check all. Results even seem to vary due to time of day
i had total confidence in this tool , now im not so sure whether or not i should use it , but your right about data centers ive tried a few other tools online and they are replicating similar results to keyword tracker which again are wrong if i do a manual search?? coould it be that it is not yet reflected at the user end but has already been change in the data centers ?
