    My traffic dropped by 50%, all my keywords have dropped from the index and are buried somewhere in the google index. Hopefully things will re-arrange, because this is my main website.

    As mentioned the PR update is just an export of the pr. It is already a a few weeks or more out of date.

    Guys, if your SERPs are disappearing, it is not because of PR update, but because Google has eliminated the supplemental index. Now you have a few billions more pages to compete with.

    Ya I have seen a little fluctuation in PR and in no of backlinks. Now no of backlinks increased for my sites and blogs. But i have not seen any change in PR of my site but one of my blog s PR dropped from 3 to 2 however i have seen an increase of PR in internal pages of my blog.........

    It looks PR and backlink updation is agin in process.

    PR update is happening! My website still PR 4, 1 blog got PR 3 to 2, other blogs remain in PR 0 but one got 0 to PR 3. About the SERP yah! I think its updating . . .I am experiencing a drop of SERP in google.

    SERP and PR are related, but not the way we think. It is related in the number of backlinks and the anchor text it carries. So if you have a PR4 for SEO service site with 1000 backlinks carrying anchor text "SEO service", it definitely is better than the PR2 that has 500 backlinks with the same anchor text.

    PR conveys the strength of the backlinks. That's the only way I see.
