    I think this is best thing to do during updates... we never know where we'll land. We've dropped from page 2 to page 5 now we're on page 4, hope we'll be among top 10 when the update is over :D ;)

    I'm seeing this for one or two smaller websites, were in top ten, then jump out to nowhere, then jump back higher ;)

    Every day different results from serps so, i agree with rubeina.
    Bets thing to do during the updates is, just wait until update finish.

    lost my #1 ranking for my key term today - went from page 2 then 3 then it was nowhere to be found. Late today it returned to #1 no idea what is going on - I am also getting hits for other terms I am not reallly competing for. I noticed the cached verison of my page has been changing also it has gone back to a older version now
