IMO you're wasting your time with page two. Get onto page on in the top 5 if it kills you!

You need exposure to get clicks / sales & even if people aren't clicking your site (you might be no. 5) then they'll still see your site and you'll become a trusted and authoratitive site in their minds (once they see you in the top 5 for a few different search phrases).

Its not only serp that can attract a visitor from search engine to click on your websites link. It mainly depends on what they were looking for and what your sites appearance leaves as a first impression on them. Being on the first page 1-10 a visitor sees top five (1-5) in the visible frame of browser, if he finds anything interesting then hes gone, If not then he will be tempted to scroll down and then if you have a catchy text there you have gold as they will be tempted to click on link to go to your website.

Next I think its about 30-35% surfers who make to page 2 or more rest all get what they want on 1st page itself i.e. 1-10 search results.

Too many factors , the quality of the sites ranking over you - the quality of your sites etc.

The top 5 get most of the traffic.

Google places two ads on top so #10 is really #12. Not to mention all the ads on the side.

Beyond just exposure, you need to manage how you appear in the SERPs. If you are selling something, try to get the selling points to display in the search listing by placing those features in the title and first few words of the page copy. If "in stock" is important included in the title so the listing title says "Christmas toy - In stock".
