SERP for keyword in top 20 for an hour now gone

    I noticed some visitors coming from google with a keyword that I was not expecting to see rank well yet. They were coming from the top 20 results. Now I'm no where to be found?

    Does anyone have any idea what this is about?

    don't try to find any explanation for google behavior these latest weeks. just thank him for the temporary surge and ignore it.

    Google is just weird. If there is anything I've learned most by reading these forums, it is that Google is weird.

    that's probably part of the sandbox effect..
    I've read people speculate that G will temporarily give you a high SERP as a test to see how many clicks you get.. if you get a lot, you keep rising, if you dont get many, you dive into the sandbox for the next year or so..
