SERP Drop

    Hi,

I have held SERP for a really good keyword for years and have just changed my website to a newly designed one 6 days ago.

Is it normal to experience a drop in SERP's and does it normally pickup again.

    Thanks

It should pick up again, sounds natural.

As long as you don't change the content and density it should be fine, but it might drop down but just a little.

Don't take tension. It is the part of normal processing. It will be better.

    Thanks everyone for the reassurance.

It is nevertheless a tense moment when a website I have spent 6 years building, developing and optimising looses significant SERP for almost all it's keywords.

Seems like I will just have to sweat it out.

Is there anything else I should be doing? I have setup all necessary 301's and have submitted new site maps to google and bing.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Will this meta command be causing the problem at all <meta name="robots" content="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW" />?

    Thanks
