I've had pretty good SERP's for a lot of keywords in my niche and this morning all gone. Anyone else experiencing this?

In the last 24 hours I've actually seen a significant increase in SERPs for almost all of my clients.

I got a -8 drop pretty much across the board on my keywords (#1 went to #9, #3 went to #11, etc)

I'm not sure what's up yet. But its odd that it's so uniform. I'm giving it a few days and seeing if another shoe is gonna drop or if that's it and I can see what happened.

I'd give this time if your drops aren't devastating. I think they've input a new algorithm.

It's very normal to drop in SERP when google start updating. Give them a time they will bring back your site to it's position if your site deserved it.

Same here but 20 days ago.
I was ranked on top 10 for many, many keywords, next day my site wasn't on top 100 for most of them. Although still ranked on top 10 for a bunch of keywords.
Still waiting for a SERP comeback ;) but I'm afraid that site could be penalized for buy/sell links.

Nope. But then I've never bought a single link. I think Google is making good on their warnings.

I've never bought a link or sold one either. This same thing happened to me last month and then everything came back after about a week or two. It's just that the drops are drastic. From say ranking at 6 dropping down to like 400 it's odd.

If yours goes up, then someone elses drop. So if yours drop then someone elses go up. It always flunculate. Don't be surprise to see it go up and down.

Fluctuations are a part of life. If they didn't happen, you'd never get to the top. For every place you gain, someone else has had to go down. Best advice is to ride it out, enjoy the high times and ignore the lows.
