I'm writing this, because I'm looking for a solution for my recent drop in SERPS for main keywords. 1) My site dropped 3 weeks ago of from 1st page to somewhere 300+ positions 2) My site is fully indexed and not having a manual penalty So basically I dropped a huge positions from my main keywords, other keywords stayed the same or even rised. My main page is completely off from the serps, but sub-pages still exist and even rank. I have added new content weekly and I have also built many new backlinks, but nothing has been changed. My hope is gone. Recently I read about keyword density and I found that I had very much keyword related phrases/words on my main page. I also haven't varied my backlinks anchor texts. Could it be because of that? How to recover from that? Thanks!
Having too much keyword density could penalize you. It could also be related to recent Panda updates as well. I've seen a number of people post here about their sites dropping in rank after Panda updates.
Have уоu beеn going a bit black hat fоr back links? If so then yоu will have to expect drops іn rankings. From what I've read оn black hat forums (some оf whіch аrе great) if you use automated spam comments, you will get drops but cоmе thrоugh іn thе long run. If уour site iѕ nеw you mіght bе sandboxed. (google it, I don't know еnough аbоut іt tо explain it) If you аrе not dоіng mass commenting it sеemѕ mоѕt lіkеly tо me, thаt you hаve gоtten penalized for "keyword stuffing". Google hates that! And theу DO give penalties fоr it.
Every now and then Google fires up with updates. They aim to make the searches as natural (organic) and searcher-friendly as possible. There could have been algorithm changes: maybe too much repetitive keywords on your main page. Go over these pages and implement changes.
Probably the problem is many wrong keywords. Big amount instead of concretization. Had this very problem
