I have noticed my site fluctuating almost weekly from the third or fourth page to well beyond #10 for my top search keywords. Outside of adding inbound links through articles, directories and an external blog the only thing I can think of is that I have added my published ezine articles and press releases onto my site. Does Google consider that duplicate? Is such a fluctuation a penalty by Google or the fact that my site is only one year old in a very competitive business the reason?
that means only one thing! your site is not yet well optimize to beat those competitive sites on your niche, that's why it happens!
Two things... Google seen your content....which is more ezine articles and try to link more with relevant or high pr sites
Thanks, I do use the term 'promotional products' for the anchor text in my backlines (my site is www.promosntime.com) and not sure about the content/eznine comment.
The question is, is it ok to publish my eznine articles on my site. I have lots of backlinks from directories, aticles, recipricals, press releases yahoo directory - all with key words in link text. I also use keywords in all meta tags appropriately and constantly add new content. Is there anything else I should do?
it happens all the time, one day, my site is on the top of search results, that is no.1, the next day, I find my site on the very last page
