SERP - Does it take long ?

    Last week I optimized a page of my site. This page was not optimized before.

    I have had the position #7 for a certain keyword.

    I did update this page, and now Google has already visited, and it is showing the new title and description in the search.

    But, for my surpriese, my position is still #7.

    Does it take any longer to get a better SERP ?

    Or shall i try right away another SEO strategy for this page ?

    Well maybe the page optimization isnt enough to surpass the backlink strength of the results above you mate...

    Seiya is right, Google focus much on inbound links. Have you checked if other search engines have any changes?

    Also SERPs dont change instantly. You have to give it time.

    But if you want to move up you need to focus more on incoming links.

    Ummm, depends, wait for Google to update but continue building quality links and articles for your website to increase SERP
