I know Google has been making some changes, but I am hoping someone can tell me why some are seing better SERP changes while others, including myself, have took a nose dive. I went from over 3000 unique users a day to 200. I am about to puke over this, 2yrs of work, unique content, tons of it in a great niche and now this. I have fought my way to top for many keywords in my niche and now.. I have been blown out of the water. I am not sure if I have been penalized. If anyone has the slightest idea, please let me know. Thanks
Take it easy my friend all I can say is just keep working and build some more links from within the content from related sites/blogs. In march one of my sites went from 4000-5000 unique visitors per day to 300-400 but came back to normal after about 30 days.What I am trying to say is that if you have done some good work on your site its just a temporary dip and should come back to normal in a few days. Have you checked to see if there's anyone duplicating your content, effecting you via the proxy issue, or perhaps contacted Google? Those would be my suggestions. Other than that, I'm seeing huge swings in the SERPs, so I think Google is doing some big things behind the scenes. It's just unfortunate that it could be effecting people's livelihood. Let us know if things bounce back for you.
I appreciate the words gentlemen. I have read a few post and I am waiting patiently (or at least I think I am), my drop started Aug 20 and its been a slide downward since. I am hoping thing recover soon. Again thanks for somewhat calming words.
google serp is so much changing for these days. i have dropped from some keywords which i was ranking before. but i have also started to rank for new keywords which i was not ranking before
I would say,"patience is the key to success". Be patient and keep up the good work you will get your ranking back even better
