Toby, thanks for the compliment. :)

As for the paid links thing, yes, it does seem to be right, but they posted it today, on June 12nd. It cannot be in the algo right now. No way!!

I really believe it is because of the thing I just said: Many of my "recent" pages are not there, and many new backlinks will not thuse be considered either. So imagine your sites situation 1 month ago. If, then, you ranked well for certain keywords than you ranked yesterday, then you will rank for them better today too. But if you ranked very well for a keyword 2 days ago, that will almost totally be gone today.

And this is, guys, TEMPORARY. I am sure something is broken again on their algos. After their bigdaddy update, I heard, they had to suffer from a lot of problems, and the exactly same situation you and I mentioned here happened then, too, around 6 months ago. I remember the communications of experienced webmasters on other forums about this type of an issue.

Thats what, they are relying on reporting. Millions of hyperlinks must have been bought and sold. I guess they are relying on competitors to report on each other, which is not a good thing...

That would make sense, my site which is a couple of months old has dropped out very badly.

In fact only two of my pages now appear in Google on keyword searches. My homepage no longer appears where as yesterday on my four keywords it ranked 4,20,56,123 has now disappeared completely.

Although I did also change my title which has been picked up on some pages but not others. The ones where the title has changed have been dumped. Maybe thats something to do with it?
