SERP better in Google than in Yahoo

    Few considerations:

    1. MSN didn't indexed my site (2 months past) why is that?
    2. If I type a keyword In Google I appear in second page but in Yahoo in 20th page - why is that?

    Thanks,
    Vad

Don't worry because Search Engines have different algorithms of their own...

If your site wasn't indexed just link to already crawled site and the bots will crawled it.....

Google and Yahoo! are completely different search engines, you'll never have the same results on either.

you are right, the thing the only you can do is, have a different effort for every SE, study each of them.

Well, not including the fact they are their own seperate companies. Or the fact they do have patents on their own crawling\indexing\searching systems. I'd go with the simple answer they are rivals and must be different from one another. They also have different methods for ranking sites in SERPs. :)

Yes, every SE has it's own algorithm for searching keywords. You can't have the same results for 10 keywords in different SE's.

    1. MSN is the slowest among Google and Yahoo... and there's an issue about MSN's database problem (one possible reason why your site is not yet in it)

    2. Search engines implements different algorithm in maintaining their database and they have different ranking factors

I am on page one of hundreds of unique keywords phrases on Google and do not show up at all on many of them for Yahoo. I have never understood that.

I do feature Adsense front and center on many of my pages and have often wondered if Yahoo holds that against me. I tried to join Yahoo's ppc program 2 times and never heard back from them so I never was able to get them on my site.
