Hi, My site was having about 200 organic from google and now down to 20 per day. My website was hacked and now i have removed the hacked code and its fine now but i have lost all my SERP, is this because my website was hacked??? If yes any idea how long it might take to get my ranking back again or if there is anything i can do to get the position back in Google. Also, i use to get lot of traffic to www.mysite.com/home/default.aspx. this page is no longer indexed by google. (its my landing page) Please need you guys help me out here...
it was sql injection attack where hackers add their sql command with our link to update our database.
If your site was genuinely hacked which made google to ban your site, you should file a re inclusion request. Read this howto - mattcutts.com/blog/reinclusion-request-howto
My website is indexed in google 2860 pages That is about the size of website. But the SERP for even low competitive keywords i have no ranking, Example 1 Example 2 I use to Rank no 1 for both the KWs without the quotes and now ... Page 6 for example 2... So i guess i am not banned but no ranking i guess...
It's because your competitors have gotten more pagerank than yours. First number site has 4 pr with keywords "Thangka Paintings". You need hard work to get good ranking.
I'd work on building more backlinks, remember you need to do this every day, it is not a one off activity
observe your SE ranking campaign give it weeks or months ( and optimize it ) link build some more, maybe the competition on your keyword niche is active.
I had ranking for most of my important key words but since the hacker attack its all gone.. Do i have to again start the SEO thing all over again???? Can any one explain me why google is not indexing my landing page, it has indexed all the pages except my default page. http://www.himalayacrafts.com/home/default.aspx
