Serious Internet Business For Sale - Proced at $185k

Discussion in 'Sites' started by phjohnso, Apr 22, 2007.

I am looking for someone that has the available capital to acquire our business called netcablesplus.com, Inc.

The business is almost 2.7 years old and in 2006 did 185k in sales. We have almost 4000 products available on our website. Sales growth from 2005 to 2006 was roughly 30 - 35%.

the majority of our products are dropshipped so there is little physical work involved.

our business runs in the following manner.

    internet based via http://www.netcablesplus.com

    over ebay at
    http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=netcablesplus

please notice that our ebay feedback is absolutely impeccable which shows you how we run the business.

with 12796 total feedbacks you will see there is absolutly 0 negatives or neutrals. We make sure that we totally satisfy every customer.

    What is for sale....

The entire business entity known as netcablesplus.com, Inc.

    Includeing...

    all vendor relationships

    all customers and repeat accounts

the ebay account (please understand we are in no way selling the ebay account because that would violate their tos. There are ways to take over the ebay account by logging into it and changeing all of the ownership info and password.)

You will be able to take ownership of the paypal email address which you will then transfer over to your own paypal account.

you can have the phone and fax lines and have them forwarded to wherever you choose.

you will receive our entire quickbooks file so you will have an accounting of the full business history.

google adwords account with complete 2+ year history whic includes all keywords and bids and landing links.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

so as you can see here this is a full e-business that is ready to takeover.

reason for sale - older age and other interests at this point in time.

ONLY inquire if you have $185k in liquid assets. We will hold no paper, will will have no payment plan, we will not take you on as a partner with equity. this is an outright sale and that requires the ability to consumate the transaction. you can read more about us on our about us page. http://www.netcablesplus.com/index.asp?PageAction=COMPANY

business has been priced at $185k which is equal to one year of sales.

Thanks for looking and remember... if you are looking for specific financial information you will have to sign a NDA before any business related information can or will be released.

if you do not have liquid cash please don't waste our time or yours for that matter.

    thank you.

Spend the $20 to list it on sitepoint. Also recommend Earners Forum.

185k in sales but what was your profit? After server/adwords/ebay fees/merchandise.

Looking through your online store at ebay, most of the items you sell are for less than $5, I can't imagine the profit margin being overly high here. Without a profit margin, the $185k stat is completely useless - I know guys who do $1mil in sales yet have very low profits, in fact, that is true for any offline retailer. You could be making $5k/year or you could be making $200k/year profit. You could at least give a ballpark figure.

I guess then since you can not imagine then you can't know. In many cases the profits on these items are over 200 - 300% and then you add in the handling fee on the shipping and yes that is even more profitable.

so yes even though many items are under $5 we are happy to pack and ship them all day long.

Now when an order is placed for 25 - 50 - 100 - or 500 of the same item thats a really good thing.

    thanks for the inquiry.

I dont mean to be a bad apple but wow, if you truly are looking for interested and valid buyers (which isnt me) provide additional information.

180k turnover is great, but you jumped around and cleverly worded your post to exclude any mention of 'profit'.
I can turn over 500k a month, but when the wares cost me 800k wheres the logic?

I dont see this post getting much interest as you have hoped but good luck with continuing any ambiguity.

I will provide complete details and answers to all questions to qualified buyers only - since you state openly you are not a qualified buyer then why are you even chiming in here in an attempt to taint our offering of which you know nothing about.

Yes, the e-business side of netcablesplus does run on monster commerce. We had tried Miva merchant for a year and a half and didn't like the interface and some of the buginess that caused some problems with some add on modules that we had been using. Monster commerce (although not without some of their own issues) provides us with many more options and a much better sales interface for generating revenue.

    thanks for your inquiry.

You might want to list it on Sedo.com as well - or use a broker to sell it. A site/company with such high revenue won't probably sell here.

Good luck with the sale :)
