Hi all. I need a serious web hosting provider that support flvtools with good bandwidth. What Do I mean with serious ? Most of the providers in DP : - Don't reply when someone post that the server is down. - Their domains are very frech (End of 2008 most of them) and expires in 2009. So If you have any suggestions I'll be glad. Thanks.

1st of all most ffmpeg enable (shared hosting) have cpu limit. For video converting you need beyond that if you want to convert fast. Well at least you need to set a cron running every 5 min (if ur website is famous and you are serious about it too). What you can do is get a cheap VPS install ffmpeg in it and use it juz to host your main website & video converting while for video content you can host it somewhere else. vShare script does allow clustering for file server. For file server you can use lighty so that user can stream from anywhere he wana start. JW Player have a function to stream from any point if your file server use lighty. I suggest you get unemetered bandwidth for file server. Average usage perday for me so far is about 2TB ++ for video size average around 60MB - 80MB. If you plan to host a smaller clip then it should be a problem but you need to know that normal 100mbps uplink is not enuff.. So now you could ask yourself again.. do you really need "Serious FFMPEG Hosting"
